2024 Recap: A year to remember

11.12.24

As 2024 comes to an end, I’m taking a moment to reflect on an amazing year for CINNY. It’s been a whirlwind, with so many memorable highlights throughout the year. Here are just a few of my favourite moments from 2024…

Our new home: Unveiling the CINNY showroom

This April we proudly opened the doors to the CINNY showroom. Transforming a blank space into a warm and inviting showroom. It’s now a place where I can immerse myself in my designs, work on CINNY projects and connect with customers in person.

The showroom became even more special in November when we hosted Christmas with CINNY, our first event in the space. It was a joy to welcome friends and new faces.

Expanding our collection: Introducing new furniture & accessories

This year, I embraced the challenge of expanding our collection with some truly special furniture pieces. First in our new collection included…

The CINNY Carimate Chair, a timeless design icon, paired back to its natural beech and reimagined with our custom CINNY seat pads. We’re looking forward to welcoming our newest members of the chair family, our full gloss edition which will drop early January.

The CINNY Bedroom Sofa, a stunning early 20th-century piece, was meticulously restored by expert upholsterers. With its traditional coil-sprung seat, Arthur Stripe Elephant Blue upholstery, and elegant kick pleat skirt.

The CINNY Eiderdown, has had a wonderful year as more and more of you are pushing aside the duvets and finding comfort in traditional sheets and blankets, topped with an Eiderdown. Our Arthur Stripe as been a true success story on beds this year and we saw lots of bespoke eiderdown orders shipped to the US. We’ll continue to produce our much-loved Eiderdowns in Single and Superking size, and will be extending the range with new designs.

The CINNY Frillies & Cushions, again part of our everyday stock, we always have cushions available. We have a number of different designs, shapes and sizes, adorned with gorgeous trims from Samuel & Sons. Send us an enquiry so we can help you find what you are looking for and produce them for you.

I have already been working hard on new pieces and designs for 2025, can’t wait to share!

Capturing the moment: CINNY photoshoots

Our new showroom has been the home for many of our photoshoots across the year. Talented photographers Toby Mitchell and Kasia Fiszer have beautifully captured the CINNY brand in their shoots for us to share across our channels.

November brought a major milestone— a spectacular photoshoot in London. We designed six distinct rooms, showcasing CINNY fabrics, wallpapers, and new homeware pieces. I’m so excited to unveil these photos to you all next year!

CINNY by you: Our fabric and wallpaper featured

One of the most rewarding parts of 2024 has been seeing CINNY fabrics and wallpapers come to life in stunning interior design projects. Designers such as Rita Konig, Emma Sherlock, Graham Viney, Alice Crawley, Octavia Dickenson, Leonora Birt, Uns Hobbs and Pandora Taylor have incorporated CINNY fabrics and wallpapers into their projects. Nothing I love more than to see designers interpret the designs into the most inspirational schemes. I’m so grateful for the support and to see so many of you use CINNY is a dream come true. Thank you!

We were delighted to collaborate with Wild by Tart on their new mezzanine space at their London restaurant. It featured our Arthur Stripe in Baked Apple which we customised to meet CRIB 5 standard and saw it take centre stage, dressed on either side of viewing area looking down the restaurant below. It offered a sense of the theatre and intimacy to the chic area. We’d highly recommend dining there!!

It’s an honour to be part of this and work on such prestigious collaborations. With 2025 already bursting, with exciting new opportunities, I can’t wait to see the journey of CINNY designs next year!

Moments with family: The heart of CINNY

Amidst all the excitement of growing CINNY, my family has remained at the core. This year, we cherished special moments together, from trips to Marrakech and Greece, to cheering on sports events. My girls are both keen equestrians and started to climb the British showjumping ladder, there have been highs and low and everyday I admire their tenacity to keep going. My son, the creative, has set up his own clothing brand, Orgwear for friends and family and his huge love of mono-skiing will see him take on the Cotswold series next year. They will always be the biggest inspiration to me.

2024 has been a wonderful adventure, I have loved watching the business grow and see it reach further, with international appeal. I’m beyond grateful for you all being on this journey with me and I look forward to what 2025 has in store!
