Since Mother’s Day, I’ve found myself reflecting on the delicate balance between motherhood and design, how the two quietly intertwine in everyday life. Most days start in motion; school runs, lost socks, the kettle on but somewhere in between, you find a pause for creativity.

When I first started CINNY, my children were still small. It wasn’t about ambition in the loud sense. I simply needed something that was mine, a creative thread running alongside motherhood. When children arrive, they quite naturally become the centre of everything. It’s beautiful but somewhere in that shift, parts of you, steps aside. CINNY was my way of rediscovering that quiet independence, creating something I felt proud of, something that belonged to me.

Motherhood has taught me that balance isn’t something you master once. It’s a gentle daily choice. Creativity doesn’t always need hours of quiet, sometimes it simply needs a pause 🤍

Galloping into the Year of the Horse with gratitude and excitement. 🐎✨

Watching my two little riders (8 & 10) fly over jumps and their love for their ponies and show jumping captures everything this Year of the Horse is about energy, bravery, momentum, determination and spirit.

Here’s to a year of chasing dreams, celebrating every win (big and small), and enjoying the ride along the way. Wishing all of you a vibrant and thriving Year of the Horse 🐎
