Some of our favourite moments in the showroom are the quiet ones. When the afternoon light streams through the windows, there’s time to sit with a coffee, flick through fabric books, and just enjoy being surrounded by beautiful things.

It’s exactly how we hope our clients feel when they visit. No rush, no pressure, just time to explore the collections, gather inspiration and talk through ideas at your own pace.

It’s little moments like these that we love most. Homes aren’t meant to look perfect, they’re meant to be lived in, loved, and occasionally claimed by a sleepy sausage dog 🐶

One piece of advice we always give? Never choose fabric or wallpaper from a screen alone ☝🏼

Light changes everything. A colour that feels soft and warm in the morning might appear completely different by the afternoon, and the texture and scale of a design are things that can’t be appreciated through a photograph.

We always encourage clients to live with their samples for a few days. Pin wallpaper to the wall, drape fabric over a chair, move it from room to room and see how it looks as the light changes throughout the day. It’s often the little details you notice over time that help you make the right decision ✨

The Making of Georgia 🤎

I’ve always loved things that carry the mark of the hands that made them.

Georgia is hand screen-printed in Britain on the finest linen. The subtle variations in the print are part of its beauty - no two lengths are ever quite the same.

Supporting British craftsmanship has always been at the heart of CINNY, and Georgia is a celebration of that: thoughtful, tactile and made to last.

Clay Rose, printed on a beautiful stone linen, brings a soft and warm feel, while Pine Green, printed on a light cream linen, offers a fresh, natural look.

Printed entirely by hand in England, Georgia celebrates the artistry and tactility of traditional screen printing. Every metre passes through skilled hands, preserving the beauty of slow craftsmanship and thoughtful making.

Since Mother’s Day, I’ve found myself reflecting on the delicate balance between motherhood and design, how the two quietly intertwine in everyday life. Most days start in motion; school runs, lost socks, the kettle on but somewhere in between, you find a pause for creativity.

When I first started CINNY, my children were still small. It wasn’t about ambition in the loud sense. I simply needed something that was mine, a creative thread running alongside motherhood. When children arrive, they quite naturally become the centre of everything. It’s beautiful but somewhere in that shift, parts of you, steps aside. CINNY was my way of rediscovering that quiet independence, creating something I felt proud of, something that belonged to me.

Motherhood has taught me that balance isn’t something you master once. It’s a gentle daily choice. Creativity doesn’t always need hours of quiet, sometimes it simply needs a pause 🤍
